From 18 to 23 May in Turin, in the spaces of Lingotto Fiere, the International Book Fair has been back for its thirty-fifth edition with the theme "Through the looking glass". INFN, a cultural partner of the Book Fair, was present at the great event with its own editorial initiatives and educational and teaching projects. At the INFN stand, curated by the INFN Turin Division, the latest issue of the magazine Asimmetrie was presented, on the theme "Space", dedicated to current and future research in fundamental physics conducted through experiments and space missions. Researchers told the visitors about particle physics thanks to small experiments and demonstrations, also challenging them with the quizzes of the INFN ScienzaPerTutti project. INFN's participation in the Book Fair also included the organization of an event with the writer Edoardo Borgomeo, author of "Blue Gold. Stories of water and climate change", the book published by Ediotori Laterza and winner of the eighth edition of the Asimov prize, project for schools and prize for popular science books promoted by INFN with the collaboration of many institutions, universities and associations. The event, entitled “Physics, Ecology, Climate, Philosophy of science: who won the Asimov Prize?”, which was held on May 18, was organized by the scientific commission of the project with the collaboration of the INFN Gran Sasso National Laboratories, of the Italian Booksellers Association (ALI) and of the Italian Committee for the Control of Claims on Pseudosciences (CICAP). Moreover, the Bookstock space in Pavilion 2 hosted the activity for kids and families "HEPscape! The escape room on elementary particle physics": an adventure in the physics of the Large Hadron Collider at CERN, to find out how the largest particle accelerator in the world works and what it is looking for. The escape room, realised by the INFN Rome Division with the support of Sapienza University of Rome, was active every day from 11 to 20, open to everyone, aged 9 and over.
