The long-awaited international event dedicated to the world of publishing, the Turin International Book Fair, is back from May 18 to 23, in the spaces of Lingotto Fiere. INFN will also be present at the 35th edition of the Fair, presenting its editorial initiatives and some educational and didactic projects, in Pavillion 2, Stand L17. The latest issue of the magazine Asimmetrie, on the theme "Space," dedicated to current and future research in fundamental physics conducted through experiments and missions in space, will be presented at the stand. Researchers and scientists will tell visitors about particle physics with small experiments and demonstrations, and let them play with quizzes from the ScienzaPerTutti project .
Two other activities complement INFN's participation in the Book Fair. The Asimov Prize for Science Publishing is organizing a dialogue with the author of the eighth edition's winning book on Thursday, May 18, at 12:45 p.m. in the Ivory Room. Finally, in the Bookstock area of Pavilion 2 for the entire duration of the Fair, there will be HEPscape, the escape room on elementary particle physics, an adventure into the physics of CERN's Large Hadron Collider, to find out how the world's largest particle accelerator works and what it looks for.

INFN AT PLAY - GAME FESTIVAL

Learn by playing: INFN will be present in Modena for the duration of the event with a space at the fair with experiments and games to learn about particle physics, and with "HEPscape: the particle physics escape room" set up in the city, at Fondazione Collegio San Carlo.

Researchers tell the latest news from the world of science while drinking a beer: Pint of Science, an initiative that brings science to pubs and bars, is back. Many researchers from INFN, gold sponsor of the initiative for years, are involved in the evenings of science in 19 cities across Italy.

The exhibition curated by Fondazione Idis - Città della Scienza, in collaboration universities and research institutions, dedicated to the exploration of the universe continues. INFN is participating with three interactive multimedia installations dedicated to black holes, dark matter and the expansion of the universe.
