Einstein Telescope. Listening to the universe
July 26, 2024 – November 24, 2024
San Michele Castle Municipal Center - Cagliari
A collaboration between Orientare srl and INFN, with the patronage of the Municipality of Cagliari
The exhibition Einstein Telescope, listening to the Universe offers a fascinating journey to discover the cosmos and one of the most important research projects of the coming decades.
The primary goal of this ambitious scientific project is to study the universe using gravitational waves, going back in time to the era when light first appeared. This fascinating journey is reconstructed in a path that, thanks to multimedia content, will inspire visitors to look up at the sky with new curiosity to explore the deep space, still so unknown. Starting from Albert Einstein and his theory of General Relativity, the exhibition aims to present both the research project's objectives and some complex scientific concepts, such as gravitational waves, black holes, and multi-messenger astronomy, in a simple way.

Beyond the Visible
July 29 – August 2 , 2024
Palazzo Ducale – Genoa
On July 29, 2024, the photographic exhibition Beyond the Visible: LHC in Images will be at the Palazzo Ducale in Genoa, a collection of photographic works by Enrico Sacchetti on the world's largest particle accelerator: LHC, the Large Hadron Collider. The exhibition is organized by the Association Science is Cool in collaboration with the National Institute for Nuclear Physics and Enrico Sacchetti. Visitors will immerse themselves in the heart of the LHC, the world's most powerful particle accelerator. The works will reveal the complex world of subatomic particles and the fundamental forces that govern the universe. The exhibition "Beyond the Visible: LHC in Images" has been organized during the XVI edition of the BOOST International Workshop (BOOST 2024).
