The international event for lovers of science and evenings with friends has been back again this year. From 22 to 24 May, many events took place in pubs in 26 countries around the world to talk about science in an informal and engaging way over a beer. In Italy, the event, coordinated by the Pint of Science Italia association, involved 23 cities and many INFN researchers, both as organizers in some cities participating in the initiative, and as speaker of the meetings with the public. Over the three evenings, in fact, more that 200 researchers talked about science with the public in the cities of Avellino, Bari, Bologna, Cagliari, Catania, Ferrara, Frascati, Genoa, L'Aquila, Lucca, Milan, Naples, Padua, Palermo , Pavia, Pisa, Reggio Calabria, Rome, Rovereto, Salerno, Siena, Turin and Trieste. During the three evenings, each of the 64 pubs involved hosted interactive presentations of approximately 40 minutes followed by questions from the public in a relaxed atmosphere. There really is something for everyone! Pint of Science was born in 2013 in the UK. Italy has been participating since 2015, initially involving only 6 cities, which soon multiplied up to 23 since 2019. INFN has always supported the initiative as a national sponsor. Today, 26 countries of the world participate: Australia, Belgium, Brazil, Canada, Costa Rica, France, Germany, Greece, Ireland, Italy, Mexico, New Zealand, Holland, Paraguay, Portugal, United Kingdom, Russia, Singapore, Spain, United States, Sweden, Switzerland, South Africa and Thailand
