INFN AND THE EINSTEIN TELESCOPE AT BERGAMOSCIENZA

Stands about the Einstein Telescope and gravitational waves research. With the support of MUR.
Little experiments and demonstrations will unveil the fascination and mysteries of gravitational waves and tell schools and wider audience about the big research challenges and latest frontiers, like multi-messenger astronomy and the future Einstein Telescope.

New eyes for gravitational waves
A show-lecture about the Einstein Telescope project and Italy’s candidacy to host it in Sardinia. With Monique Bossi, INFN and ETIC, Marco Pallavicini, INFN and University of Genoa, and Luca Perri, astrophysicist and educator. Sara Zambotti, Rai radio, will introduce the event. Readings by Maria Giulia Scarcella, actress.
LABORATORIES ON WATER AT QUANTUM GDVT

The INFN Kids project is participating once again this year at the Quantum di Gardone Val Trompia festival, with a laboratory for kids about the cycle of water.
INFN AT THE MAKER FAIRE ROME
20-22 October, Fiera di Roma, Pavilions ‘Research’ and ‘Learn’
This year, INFN is joining the Maker Faire Rome with a stand on the HOPE tinkering project, by the INFN Ferrara Division and some students of the high schools that will be at the fair, and two workshops on the scientific method, in which the participants will be the direct stars of scientific research. The workshops will be run by Lorenzo Caccianiga, INFN Milan Division, and Pierluigi Paolucci, INFN Naples Division, and Daniele Molaro, educator.
THE GENOA SCIENCE FESTIVAL RETURNS

From 26 October to 5 November, INFN will, as usual, be at the Genoa Science Festival with events for schools and for the public and numerous activities for children and students.
